Weekend trip

Last Friday we took a quick trip to Minnesota to visit family. On the way there we stopped at the Mall of America for a day at the indoor theme park.

Aiden loved it! He wanted to ride almost everything! He even went on the water log ride twice. But his favorite ride was definitely these cute little semi trucks. I'm pretty sure he rode these at least five times.

All the boys enjoyed the bumper cars.

Aleah's favorite ride was 'Blue's Clues'. (She kept trying to climb over the fence to get back in again. So cute!) And her brothers were true sports to take her and Aiden on the ride so Mom & Dad could sit out and take pictures.



Of course the day wrapped up with a trip to the Lego store. Zach and Parker both found items to build and entertain themselves with during the trip. (You can't leave the Lego store empty handed!)

On Saturday, we headed for Aunt Heather & Uncle Derek's house.
It was so much fun to meet their new baby Lucy and see their new house too!
And we loved that Nanna and the Moss family were there for the day too!



Zach had fun playing with the kids. Especially Maddox!


And he loved getting to celebrate his birthday again with another chocolate cake!


After lunch, Nanna took all the grandkids shopping for their Christmas presents. This made for such a fun afternoon with the kids getting to play with their new toys. (THANKS NANNA!!!)

Of course, Parker picked a Lego Hero Factory set and was in Lego building heaven!


Though we were skeptical about how well Aleah would travel, she did fantastic.
She did great in the car, loved swimming at the hotel, and had a great time playing with the kids at Aunt Heather's house.
And as an added bonus, she was so exhausted from the trip that she slept in for two hours and took a three hour nap the day after we got home.
