Lots of fun activities

When it was too hot outside, there were lots of fun crafts & activities to entertain inside, like ....

painting,

gluing,

Play-Doh,

playing games,

reading,

and more!

On the nicer days, the kids loved playing outside.

(Scoob says, "Let me in! I know Grandpa's in there!"
Aleah says, "Let me out! I know the kids are out there!")

Aleah doesn't like the feel of the grass. But she loved being outside.

Often, the water balloons were filled inside, then transported outside for launching.
Parker & Ian became quite the experts at filling the balloons!

Yes, they did launch as far as it looks like they will!

Another outside favorite is always the water slide.

Aiden was a little scared to try, but once Zach helped him out, he loved it.

Aiden & Bella were 'peas in a pod'.
They were quite inseparable for the whole month!

And one of their favorite things to do was run through the sprinkler.
If the sprinkler was turned off .... no problem! They knew how to turn it back on.
And we would often find them soaked three or four times a day!

Other favorite activities at Grandma & Grandpa's house include,

walking the dogs,
roasting hot dogs & marshmallows,

and just hanging out with the family!
