Heading back home

The Vegas Thompson's were kind enough to let us stay at their house both coming and going. The weather was perfect for LOTS of swimming!

While we were there, Aunt Dixie helped the boys rescue some bunnies that had been abandoned at the house next door.
Much to the boys' dismay, they were not allowed to come home with us. But Dixie made sure they got a good home.

And I got to have a wonderful visit with my best friends from Vegas.
(Still miss you!!!!)



We also got to spend a few hours with CC right after she got home from Thailand. It was fun to see all her souvenirs and pictures!
It was a 'short & sweet' visit, so we didn't get any pictures. :(


We headed for the airport shortly before noon. After the experience coming out, I had no hopes at all for napping children on the way back.

Zach & Parker entertained themselves with their electronics.



Aiden & Aleah, however, could not have been less thrilled about the 3 hour plane ride.

But we finally arrived. Then they got to enjoy a bit more sitting while we waited for luggage and a ride home.


Arriving home was bitter-sweet! We had such a wonderful time! The older boys were in tears because we couldn't stay longer. They kept asking to go back for a few more weeks. But it's always good to get back to your own home & beds.
However, we're already planning our next visit!

Ahh. Now we gear up for back to school.
The summer has gone by so quickly already!
