Random fun

Shopping in New York is great! Window shopping that is! After our Central Park walk, we wrapped up our Saturday by walking through some fun stores. Though there are many famous (high end) stores near there, we focused on those the kids would enjoy the most. We played for a few minutes in the Apple Store. We were blown away by three stories of candy in Dylan's Candy Shop. (Dylan is Ralph Lauren's daughter.)
And we loved our visit to FAO Schwarts.

Outside the store we were greeted by this friendly guy. (We asked for a picture with him on the walk home from church on Sunday.)

And inside, we were greeted by his immobile counterpart,
larger than life and made from jelly beans.

I thought watching these guys dance play the big piano was the best. Of course, Zach & Parker thought the Harry Potter section and the Lego section of the store were the best.

Yes, Lady Liberty is built out of Lego's here. So were Jack Sparrow and Indiana Jones, both life size!

When we went back to Times Square the second time, we poked our heads in to the ginormous Toys R Us store with an indoor ferris wheel. We didn't stay for the ride because there were SO MANY people there.

There are always SO MANY people everywhere!!!

And you never know who you'll meet walking down a New York street.

The weather was near perfect for most of our trip. So whenever we could, we enjoyed being outside. Including dinner time.
