Here's one that we love-I think my grandma found it in the Des Moines Register years and year ago...
Corn Flake Chews
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups corn flakes
-dissolve sugar in corn syrup in top of double boiler (or probably in a regular pot if you don't have a double boiler)
-add peanut butter and mix until melted
-pour onto corn flakes (in large bowl)
-press into greased pan (you can use 8x8 or 9x13 depending on what thickness you want)
-let cool then cut into squares and enjoy!
