Last week the temperature rose to a balmy mid-30's.
Just seeing the sun made everyone giddy for spring.
I cracked up laughing though when I looked out my
back door and saw these 12-14 yr. old boys out in
shorts and t-shirts, shoveling the snow off their
basketball court so they could play a game in the sun.
I don't think they made it through much of a game though.
30 degrees is still COLD ... sun or no sun!
The temperature has been in the 40's this week though.
And thanks to the higher temperatures and a full week of rain,
alot of the snow is melted. For the first time in months,
we can finally see the ground again! YEAH!!!
It was almost 40 degrees yesterday morning when we
went grocery shopping. And Aiden told me he wanted
to wear his mittens, but NO COAT!!
I'm pretty sure we will finally be able to take our
Christmas decorations down this weekend. Up to this
point, they have either been frozen solid or buried too
deep in the snow to retrieve.
It will be nice to have them down before EASTER!
