Each year the 4th Grade does a project called 'Hall of Fame'. The kids each get to choose a famous person they would like to learn more about. They research, write a report, and prepare an oral presentation to be given in the voice and dress of that person.
Zach chose to be George Washington. It was fun for all of us to learn more about him as Zach practiced his speech at home. And we had great fun creating an appropriate period costume!
We created this wonderful wig using a
paper bag and lots of cotton balls!

And boy was he happy to take off the wig!!
(Can't imagine how that was ever considered stylish!)
