Packing up

Sorry for the lack of posts ....
We've been reflooring our house, doing some construction projects, and cleaning & packing everything up.  We're taking a leap of faith and selling our house.  Hope it doesn't take too long!  It's a tad bit stressful trying to have a perfectly clean house with 4 of our own kids and another 4 daycare kids.  Keeps us BUSY!!!!
But after all the work Garrett's been doing, the house looks great!  Who knew what a difference new floors and new paint could make!  Hope somebody else thinks it looks great too.  It just went on MLS this week and our first showing is scheduled for this weekend.
We just put a bid in on a 4 acre piece of land about 5 miles out of town.  So we're praying that goes through as well.  If so .... we'll get started on the next phase ... ordering our floorplans, getting subcontractor bids, etc.  My dad has agreed to spend the first part of his retirement as the general contractor.  :)  Yay!
The boys have been negotiating which animals we're going to have when they move to their 'house in the country'.  (Chickens and goats aren't on their list ... but dogs and cats are.)
Anyway ... with so many long days working on the house, I haven't kept up with the blogging.  Maybe soon I'll be able to sit down and find some pictures of everything we've been doing.  And hopefully we'll have good news about a quick sale!
