Spring!

(WARNING: Too corny for most readers!)

The frogs are croaking day and night. What a serenade.
The birds both look and sound beautiful. They love the birdbath that is right outside our front door. We peek through the window and laugh at how silly they are, splashing water everywhere. And last week I saw the first goldfinch this season in our backyard. I love the brilliant yellow color! We also have bluejays and red cardinals, which I consider a treat to see because it's much less common to spot one. However, the robins are overly plentiful! Everywhere we look we see those red breasted birds! And of course, our back deck has yet again provided the haven for two bird nests. I'm pretty sure at least one of them has eggs in it already.
Last week I startled a bunny in the front yard that was so busy eating he didn't hear me walking around the corner. A little bunny family burrowed beneath our shed (boys clubhouse) this winter, so I'm sure we'll see them on a regular basis. (Hopefully not in the garden!)
After a week of rain, everything turned green within days. And the trees are in full bloom. The yard is starting to look so beautiful!

When we moved here almost 5 years ago, the boys were amazed at my continual enthusiasm about the beauty surrounding us. Every time we went out, I would comment on it. And after a few months one of them asked, "Are you going to say this every day?".
"I hope so", was my reply.
And thankfully, I still can't help exclaiming,
"I LOVE SPRING!!!"
