Christmas morning was perfect! Of course the kids were up early, but that's all part of the fun. Aiden, who was definitely the most excited about it all, was the last one sleeping. Zach got to wake him up and they both bolted down the stairs to check out what Santa brought them.
The older boys got to enjoy the magic of Santa through the eyes of a 4 yr. old brother. So sweet! And it didn't take Aleah long to figure out how to rip the paper off her boxes.
Being a Sunday morning, we still had church at 9 a.m. So we opened a few presents, got ready and went to church, then came home to finish opening the rest. It was wonderful. It slowed down the day and spread out the fun. And it was so nice to just relax and enjoy being together as a family!
Here are just a few pictures of the kids opening their gifts:

And a few more of us enjoying our quiet afternoon.

(Aiden got his first set of Lego's, so he & his dad were busy building.)

(Parker got stocked up on Bionicles and had them all built by afternoon.)

(Zach got a Kindle and found some good books and apps to download.)
