Any day that starts with a view like this is a great day!
We decided to do a multi beach tour today and drive around
the North Shore beaches.
There are beaches with resting turtles.
When a turtle comes on shore, volunteers create
a six foot safety zone for the turtle. This allows
visitors to get close but not too close.
This turtle was injured and is in need of
a little TLC from the animal staff.
We also went on a tour of the Dole pineapple fields.
Forget the pineapple, the boys found fish.
Their vacation would be complete with three things
1) A gift store
2) Beaches
3) Fishing
We have done all three so life is good.
I forgot to mention a fourth, "fly killing".
We found a few flies at the Dole facility so with
the help of some plastic spoons, they were on the hunt.
Another great day!!!
P.S. We sure miss Rachel, Aiden and Aleah!
