Baking with Aiden

Aiden LOVES to bake!
As soon as I head for the kitchen,
he runs in, grabs a chair to stand on
and asks what we're making today.
And he's great at it too!
Measuring, pouring, mixing...
he demands his turn. In fact, he would
rather I just tell him what needs to be done
and let him do it all. But since I also
like to bake, we have to share turns. :)

Yesterday, when the girls went down
for naptime, we tried out a new bread dough
recipe. But not just for bread, of course!
We made mini pizza crusts (not shown) to
freeze for pizza night. And we made these
super yummy cinnamon rolls.
(They turned out so good the kids
didn't even ask for frosting!)
